A Steam Day at 200-year-old Coldharbour Mill is a unique experience that will enthral the whole family!
Step back in time to see, hear and smell the Victorian factory engines in full steam. Marvel at the 1821 water wheel - the largest working example in the region. View live demonstrations of vintage machines producing wool yarns and fabrics as they did back in the 19th and 20th centuries.
A fascinating textile heritage centre, with displays Adjacent country park by the old millpond.
This is a disabled-friendly all-weather site, with activities and displays to interest young and old both indoors and outdoors. The Mill Shop sells a range of unique items produced in the working wool factory, as well as locally-crafted souvenirs, and a variety of snacks and drinks is available in the café. Free car park.
