Works by Art Teachers from Barnstaple including work by  Joseph Kennedy, Allan Smith, Ken Doughty,  Brian Chugg and Gary Godwin.

The Museum will be exhibiting works by these artists and teachers who taught at various venues across the town, notably Barnstaple's School of Art, in the High Street, when it was linked to the Scientific & Literary Institute, the Grammar School, now Park Community School and North Devon College's, noe Petroc's, HE School of Art.

While teaching, these artists influenced local art education, inspiring and encouraging the artistic ability of many promising students.
