This year’s temporary exhibition is entitled An Inland Haven - The story of the Exeter Ship Canal. Find out how a medieval disagreement, commercial rivalry and sales of woollen cloth led to the construction of Britain’s first pound-lock canal. The exhibition will run throughout the 2022 season.
Just before our exhibition starts, you may be interested in attending a complementary event organised by Exeter's Custom House and called ’The Inland Haven’ (17-19 March and 24-26 March. (Tickets available from the Custom House or online from the Corn Exchange.)
