Why not while away a morning or an afternoon at Dawlish Museum. There's lots more to see and do than you might think and something that's sure to appeal , no matter what your age. Discover the history of Dawlish and Brunels amazing Atmospheric Railway or follow the story of the terrible storm of 2014 that devastated the Southwest Coastline. With 100's of old photographs in albums or on PC you can discover how the town used to look more than 100 years ago and if you're local perhaps even see what used to exist where you live today (you might be surprised ! ) There's lots to do for the little ones such as dressing up and the Swan and Quiz trails as well as amazing old toys for them to discover. We have 11 rooms over 3 floors containing dolls and teddy bears ,local pottery,geology,tools of lost industries, gruesome medical instruments and much,much more.
