The dedicated team of volunteers from A la Ronde have contributed 17,072 hours to the property. A total of 175 active volunteers and another 16 newer volunteers have all given their time towards the engagement of the property.
Roles at A la Ronde vary from fundraising, room guiding, retail and membership recruitment.
Josie Woolger, Room Guide, says 'I am a volunteer room guide at the magical A la Ronde where I started just over five years ago, following attendance at a meeting to recruit new volunteers. I was fascinated by the Parminter cousins, and wanted to know more about their fascinating life story. I was a bit nervous at first, but there were plenty of friendly faces to ease me in.'
Nicola Perryman, House Steward adds ' the volunteers never cease to amaze me. I enjoy working with such a great team of interested people. The hours completed last year beats our previous total and helps visitors to engage further with the property and discover more about its people story'.
