Grant approval - Lyn and Exmoor Museum
By: Secretary
Added: 29 April 2024
The Arts Council have now approved our application for a grant of £460,000 to completely renovate our historic museum, whilst conserving all its historic features. This will mean (amongst other things) ensuring a warm dry atmosphere to help conserve the collection, and providing a more comfortable atmosphere for visitors. Also, much needed disabled access. Exciting times!
Major structural works, inside and out, mean the museum will have to close for the 2025 season, but we remain fully open until October 2024.
