Jump into the wonderful world of cave art, inspired by RAMM’s Hollow Earth exhibition.
Cave art is like a picture book that people made a long time ago. They drew pictures of animals that they hunted and other things that they saw in their world. They used rocks, charcoal, animal blood, and berries to make the paint. They painted on the walls of caves and many pictures are still there today—we can learn a lot about how people lived a long time ago by looking at them.
We’ll be turning our Courtyard into a cave-like grotto where you can come along and add your own pictures to our ‘cave wall’, and create your own mini piece of rock art to take home with you.
This is a drop-in event. Tickets are available on the day.
