Hard At Work Behind The Scenes ! - Dawlish Museum
By: Andrew Wright
Added: 20 January 2015
Although the Museum is closed for the season much is happening behind the scenes to update the displays and enhance the visitor experience. The Storm display has been completely re-vamped with a fresh coat of paint throughout and a much more dynamic display is progressing with large photos, posters and even more to read , including the future of the railway line.
There will be newly updated WWI and WWII displays including a feature on V.E. day in Dawlish and photos of the many street parties in the town.
The Library P.C. now has a fully functioning search capability for our 100's of rare and interesting archive photos and can be searched by location, date or description.
