A la Ronde, the National Trust's 16 sided property, in Exmouth is starting to recruit new volunteers for next years season.
From March 2013 the property will open 2 extra days a week covering all 7 days. Additional volunteers are needed to help open the house to visitors.
Nicola Perryman, House Steward says 'This role is perfect for people who enjoying meeting new people and have an interest in heritage. We offer a buddy system where new volunteers shadow an exisiting volunteer to find out more about the house. We are a friendly team and look forward to hearing from you'.
Room guides assist by chatting to visitors and sharing information about the house and family that lived at A la Ronde. Without these room guides many properties would not be able to open.
Nicola continues 'If anyone is interested I always offer for them to come up and meet the friendly team. I can arrange a taster session for a morning or afternoon where interested people can find out more'
Please call the property on 01395 265514 or email alaronde@nationaltrust.org.uk
