We have been having some fun on our website with some 'mystery objects' from our Museum stores. Items photographed for our on-line catalogue by John Tissandier. Thanks for your suggestions for this rather strange red-coloured device- including Tim Trent's 'enema bulb!' He was right about being able to squeeze the thing, but it is actually a "Superior ear and nose syringe.'
