Make a Difference day - A la Ronde

Added: 24 October 2012
On Saturday 27 October, National Trust's A la Ronde near Exmouth is participating for the first time in Make a Difference Day; an opportunity for the nation to volunteer their professional skills to support charities, local community groups and clubs. Each year 70,000 people take part in the campaign to benefit the community.
House Steward Nicola Perryman says: 'Make a Difference Day is the chance for people to try out volunteering for the first time and make a difference in their community. I am encouraging people to come up to A la Ronde to find out more about the roles we have to offer.'
Nicola continues: 'If you enjoy meeting new people and learning new skills then this could be the place for you. Staff and volunteers are very keen to chat to interested people, so why not pop up to A la Ronde to meet the friendly team. You can even have a go shadowing an existing volunteer.'
The National Trust is offering free entry to A la Ronde on Make a Difference Day to anyone interested in finding out more about what is on offer.
