On the right track LEGO brick motorised trains - Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery
13 August 2024 13 August 2024When: 13 August 2024
Where: Meeting Room A
Time: 10.30am - 3.30pm
Cost: £5.00
Suitable for: Specific age ranges
Design, build and drive your own motorised LEGO brick train under the guidance of the experts from Brick Ideas.
Take a look at RAMM's 'Are We Nearly There Yet? A History of Transport' exhibition to find out about all the ways humans have travelled in the past, then join us in the Courtyard to build one of the most iconic modes of transport - a locomotive! Let your imagination run as wild as a runaway train then test your invention on our Courtyard-spanning railway line.
This is a 2 hour workshop for children aged 6-12 - please arrive in time for the start of your session - 10.30am or 1.30pm. All groups of children must be accompanied by a paying adult who is willing to get their hands dirty with their little LEGO mechanics. Please keep as many spaces as possible available for children by limiting the numbers of accompanying adults per group.
Our LEGO brick activities are always popular so book early to avoid disappointment.
