Photography awards for the North Devon Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon

The Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon welcomed the North Devon Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty to its annual Heritage Photographic Competition for the fourth consecutive year with their special category ' Seasons of the Coast'. 

The task of judging this section of the competition went to Rob Tibbles, an AONB champion and to Dave Edgcombe, their Project Officer.  Steve Pitcher the new Chair for the North Devon Coast AONB presented all the awards at the Presentation Day held at the Museum on the 23rd November 2013.

2nd - Keith Trueman - Downend Croyde

3rd - Louise Cohen - Clifftop View (Clovelly)

Highly Commended - Andrew Wheatley - Dusk at Welcome Mouth

Highly Commended - Robin Mellor - Winter View (Westward Ho!)

Commended - Andrew Wheatley - Storm Clouds over Watermouth

Commended - Louise Cohen - Reflections (Westward Ho!)

These superb images have managed to capture the outstanding coastal scenery of the Noth Devon Coast AONB throughout the seasons and in all weathers.  Why don't you come along to the Museum and have a look  for yourself!  The resulting exhibition 'North Devon in Photographs' runs until the 11th January 2014 and Admission is FREE.
