Presentation day for North Devon Heritage Photographic Competition 2013 - The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon

If you have entered the North Devon's Heritage Photographic this year then don't forget to come along to the opening of the resulting exhibition, North Devon in Photographs, and the presentation day of all the awards.

The exhibition of selected entries from the competition is at the Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon which opens on Saturday 23rd November 2013 at 10am and entry is FREE.

The awards presentation takes place on the afternoon of the 23rd November, from 2pm, where we will be joined by some of the judges and representatives from the North Devon Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Exmoor Moorland Landscape Partnership.

Thank you to all those of you who took part, including all those under the age of 16 and to all the budding and professional adult photographers too.  

 Bruce Aiken who judged the main part of the competition said..."The level of skill and creativity evident in the photographs, in both age groups, was pleasantly surprising. The only problem this created was that it made judging that much more difficult."

Do pop in to see these striking images that have captured some of the wonderful scenery and life in northern Devon and admire the work of the talented photographers we are also lucky enough to have in the locality!

North Devon in Photographs runs from 23rd November 2013 to the 11th January 2014.
