Auction of Pledges and Promises
on Friday 28th October
The Auction of Pledges and Promises will take place in the Victory Hall at 7.30 p.m. It is hoped to make the evening a social event and members and friends will be encouraged to bring their own ‘refreshments’. Tables will be laid out in the main hall. Entry will be by catalogue, costing £1.00 per person, which can be purchased in advance or on the door. Each catalogue will be numbered and a draw will be made at the interval for a bottle of whisky.
The Committee has already secured a number of promises/pledges but we would be grateful for any more that you can provide either yourself or from local businesses etc. Any one wishing to provide a pledge should contact the Secretary on 01404 822244 or complete the following tear off strip and return it as soon as possible to the Secretary.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS OUR MAIN FUND RAISING EVENT AND IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT IT IS A SUCCESS. THIS WILL ENABLE US TO CONTINUE TO RUN THE HERITAGE CENTRE IN THE MANNER THAT WE HAVE NOW ALL BECOME ACCUSTOMED
