Performed in song and prose 'The First Cut, Isabella's Revenge' tells fascinating stories about the Exeter Ship Canal, from Countess Isabella's blockage of the river in 1292 to the last sludge boat trip in 1998. This concert version of a play staged in Topsham in November 2019 will be illustrated by original songs performed by four musicians to traditional tunes.
