Tiverton Museum to feature in Flog It! - Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life

Tiverton and Tiverton Museum wil feature on BBC’s Flog It! today. The Flog It! team were filming in locally back in April 2016 with presenter Paul Martin. The compilation programme will feature new footage of Tiverton, including the museum and Knightshayes. The programme will look at the impact that John Heathcoat’s lace factory had on the town.

Museum volunteer Bernard Vickery was interviewed about his career in the factory, and Museum Director Pippa Griffith talked to Paul Martin abuot the history of the factory. The museum supplied a number of historical photographs which will also feature. Tune in on Friday 31st March at 4:30pm on BBC1.
