A Right Royal Exhibition - Museum of Dartmoor Life

Added: 20 April 2022
The Museum of Dartmoor Life has co-curated an exhibition to celebrate our Queen's Platinum Jubilee with community partners and members of the public. We asked local people to share with us any items, photos or souvenirs they had that related to the royal family and we have created an exhibition with them for our visitors to enjoy. The exhibition has some fascinating items to look at, from an unpublished poem by Poet Laureate Ted Hughes for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, to a completely crocheted afternoon tea from the Woolly Beader shop in Okehampton. There is a trail for children around the museum and also crown making.
