Added: 16 July 2012
Brixham Heritage Museum is pleased to have been awarded a grant from the Council for British Archaeology Challenge Fund, which is supported by English Heritage. This grant will enable the museum to carry out the identification, cataloguing, analysis and publication on a collection of Prehistoric worked flints recovered during excavations at Berry Head National Nature Reserve, Brixham (Torbay).
Among the worked flints recovered is a fine example of a Neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead (pictured).
Publication of the report is due March 2013.
