Curator of Antiquities, Tom Cadbury is just one of many members of staff busy moving Exeter's historic collections back into the newly created and refurbished interior facilities at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. After a multi-million pound overhaul which includes new galleries, repairs to the building and enhancing the visitor experience, the complex is due to re-open to the public in December.

However, Tom broke away from his work to give some help to a delegation from Totnes Museum. Pruw Boswell Harper, who is Chair of the Museum Trust and Heritage Leader on Totnes Town Council was paying a visit to examine some of the medieval 'finds' from several archaeological digs conducted in historic Totnes in recent years.

She's keen to select items for a new Totnes Museum display, which would also include several reconstructions using sherds of pottery to replicate what the complete vessel would have looked like. She's pictured here with Curator Tom Cadbury and fellow Trustee, Ann Rutherford.

The new display should be ready for the 2012 season when the Museum will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special display. It is also hoped to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
