World Cultures - Ashburton History Museum

There is a well-documented collection of North American Indian artefacts given to the Museum by an American descended from an Ashburton family. The collection was put together by the donor, the Paramount Chief of the Cherokee tribe and a qualified North American Indian Museum curator. The provenance of all items is assured. We know, for example, the name of the man who made the bow and arrow. Illustrated below is an item from the collection.
